Kompositionen von Piazzolla, Gismonti, Assad, Gattaz u.a.

One of the most exciting recordings of my life. While we were trying to record these virtuoso pieces on – at that time still DAT Rec – the savings bank next door was raided. Johannes C. Hustedt and I had to stop the recording because the police helicopter was constantly circling over the recording room – so we waited until the evening to finish the production in a night session. Johannes C. Hustedt, one of the most virtuoso flutists of our time, presented himself in top form on this recording. Compositions by Piazzolla, Gismonti, Assad, Gattaz and others. Stereomicro by Schoeps and a top reamp – converted at that time via WADJA to a DAT recorder. A production well worth listening to.
