Eine erneute CD Veröffentlichung mit dem Titel: „Better days for guitar players“ Eine Zusammenstellung alter Liveaufnahmen mit meiner Band und einigen Kollegen aus den 80iger Jahren. Es waren wirklich gute Zeiten für die Gitarre. Mal reinhören und vielleicht war ja der eine oder andere auf einer der Veranstaltungen. Zudem habe ich einige Bearbeitungen aus der CD „ENCORE“ auf die Scoreseite gelegt, unter der Rubrik Covers. Vielleicht ist es ja von Interesse.

Another CD release with the title: „Better days for guitar players“ A compilation of old live recordings with my band and some colleagues from the 80s. Those were really good times for the guitar. Have a listen and maybe one or the other was at one of the events. I have also put some arrangements from the CD „ENCORE“ on the score page, under the heading Covers. Maybe it is of interest.

An affectionate description and evaluation of my latest CD production ENCORE appeared in the renowned magazine AKUSTIK GITARRE 3/22. M.Lohr wrote there among other things: „High guitar art-quite incidentally presented, almost provocatively nonchalant“. This pleases the artist. (nonchalant = casual)

Samba triste von Baden Powell gehört zu den großartigen Kompositionen des brasilianischen Gitarrengroßmeisters.
Ich habe das Stück früher im Konzertprogramm aufgeführt und jetzt für meine neue CD „BRAZILGUITAR“ eingespielt. Anbei ein Video mit einigen meiner persönlichen „Baden Powell Accesscoires“ zur Erinnerung an einen der großen Gitarristen, der die Welt der Gitarre mit seinem Stil so bereichert hat. Dieses Jahr, am 26.September, ist sein 20zigster Todestag. Gedenken wir seiner.

I used to perform the piece in my concert program and have now recorded it for my new CD „BRAZILGUITAR“. Enclosed you will find a video with some of my personal „Baden Powell Accesscoires“ in memory of one of the great guitarists, who enriched the world of the guitar with his style so much. This year, September 26th, is the 20th anniversary of his death. Let us commemorate his.

Das neue Spielbuch für drei Gitarren, mit dem Titel „Sechs Stücke für drei Gitarren“ Schellverlag SM 1145 wurde hervorragend in der Ausgabe der Zeitschrift „Üben & Musizieren“ besprochen. Die Komposition „Impressions of Mallorca“ für Flöte und Gitarre wurde ebenfalls posiitiv bewertet. Der Komponist fühlt sich geehrt und freut sich.
